If all you could do for workplace wellbeing was to get more people to walk on a regular basis, you would be doing enough. Getting people to walk more would trump all the other farting around and self-imposed complexity we’ve turned wellness into over the last 30 years.
After coming up with this epiphany, it occurred to me that I may not have been the first person to think of this advice. So I went out to find someone who’s already made a fun and compelling case for walking more. Here it is: “17 Reasons to Walk More This Year.”
Also, if you like the K-9 Million March Protest cartoon I used with this blog, I’ll send one (in poster form) to the first 50 people to ask. No charge. One-per-customer. Send me an email request with your snail-mail address. I’ll send it out right away. Then grab a friend or co-worker and go for a walk. Simple, huh?
