SHAWN CONNORS, President, Hope Health
Shawn founded Hope Health in 1986, and has devoted his career to bringing the message of healthy living to readers across America. Dedicated to exercise and healthy eating himself, Shawn’s passion and sense of humor is contagious. The HOPE Health Letter serves as a vehicle for that passion with its lighthearted writing style and creative, unique illustrations that speak to people of all ages – reaching more than 2 million readers every month. Shawn also believes in healthy living for our furry friends, and has assisted thousands of animals in need. Off hours, he enjoys long walks with his wife and greyhounds, Whaler and Bobby.


WENDY HAAN, Senior Vice President
A marketing professional with 20 years of worksite wellness experience, Wendy believes that personalized communications are the key to connecting with your audience. She’ll work with you and your team to strategize the right mix of media, frequency and content that will result in the breakthrough you desire. After hours, you’ll find Wendy puttering in her gardens with a Yorkie close by or with her husband enjoying the deep woods in beautiful northern Michigan.


BRUCE SHEDD, Vice President of Information Technology
What do you get when you mix an accomplished developer, crackerjack social media guru, avid runner, and a 5th generation farmer managing the family’s homestead?  One heck of a well-rounded team member who can take your social media and SEO to the stratosphere (and teach a thing or two about tending 600 acres and livestock)!  One thing’s for sure, social media and search are changing on a daily basis, and Bruce stays on the cutting edge with daily (hourly) research on the trends. The only thing we’re not sure he does is sleep!


MEGAN HAAN, Vice President, Operations
Megan keeps us connected! She ensures our day-to-day electronic operations run smoothly. Megan also maintains our Website and social media applications. She works closely with Bruce to bring our team and clients the latest in electronic and mobile technologies. Megan volunteers for the Kalamazoo Humane Society. She is a best friend to dogs and cats. She has rescued many of them, over the years, and made them part of her loving family. Megan also enjoys dance and is a loyal fan of Kalamazoo Wings hockey.


TIM ELLIOTT, Director of Custom Services
Tim’s witty sense of humor, keen awareness of social dynamics, and amazingly creative mind shine through in every project, helping readers and viewers to understand — and appreciate — the message being conveyed (often with a smile). Tim’s diverse, award-winning career spans more than 30 years. He has worked for an array of clients — Jayco, Wickes Lumber, Celestial Seasonings, Career Track, and many others. When he’s not pouring his energy and enthusiasm into his work, he can be found tooling around on his Harley Davidson or oohing and aahing over his darling grandbaby.


JEFF LILGE, Art Director
Jeff’s dedication to cutting-edge design is second to none. He’s relentless in staying abreast of the latest design trends and has a remarkable ability to bring together the elements of effective, engaging communications so readers and viewers can’t resist devouring the content. In addition to being an industry-leading art director, Jeff’s talents run wide and deep — including a passion for music performance and authentically restoring his 100 year-old home.


JEN CRONIN, Copy Editor
An avid runner and foodie who loves to create healthful concoctions, Jen’s goal is to help others embrace — and enjoy — a healthful lifestyle by writing inspiring, engaging, and fun articles that focus on simple changes people can make to improve their lives. Jen has more than 16 years of writing, editing, and project management experience. She has worked as a health-care reporter at a daily newspaper, a public relations specialist at a major school, and a marketing communications consultant for a Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliate before coming to HOPE Health.


JULIE MEYER, Client Services Coordinator
Julie loves to use her creative talents every day — at home and at work. Her talent for project management is second to none, and she knows how to organize a project from beginning to end with on-time and on-budget delivery. Besides working for Hope Health and spending time with her husband and sons, she runs her own SewCraftyJulie business with an array of handmade designs she makes in her “spare” time.


JENNIE SCHUMAN, Personalization Account Manager
Jennie is the quintessential organizer, and will handle your account like you’re the only company on Earth. A passionate mother to her two adorable children, Jennie brings that passion to her work and strives for perfection every day. Her crazy funny sense of humor keeps us laughing all day, and her creative ideas shine through in everything she does!


SANDY REID, National Account Representative
Young at heart, with an abundance of energy, Sandy has devoted her personal life and career to living healthy. She starts each day with a 5:30 a.m. spinning class. During the day, she happily assists our clients with their communication needs, and brings our message to new clients. Then she ends her day training on a cycling team to unwind and spend time with people she enjoys. She holds certifications in Group Exercise and Personal Training, and believes that staying active is all about having FUN!!!


CONNIE PEASE, Controller
Connie graduated from Michigan State University. She has worked in the accounting department at Hope Health for over 20 years. She stays busy taking care of her family, volunteering at school and church functions, and walking her two dogs.
